“It is difficult to express, in a few short statements, the impact of tuition assistance at St. Peter Lutheran School has had on my family. The simple statement is this. We could not afford to send our two children to St. Peter Lutheran School without tuition assistance. The more important statement involves the value we have found by introducing our children to a Christian education. Three years ago, my wife and I were not satisfied with our children’s education. If I’m being honest, we were upset by the classroom environment more than the test scores. I want my children to learn and grow in a class where they feel safe, and be taught by leaders who recognize the importance of a God-centered life. My wife and I have talked about what a mission statement would include if we ever got around to writing one down for our family. The values we want to model for our children involve trusting in God’s plan for us, being humble, being kind, listening more than we talk, being good leaders, and serving others in everything we do. Every direction we look at St. Peter Lutheran School I can point to an example of someone living those values, and demonstrating them to my children. There’s a sense of community and belonging that exists in this school. We can trust our children are being loved, protected, and taught, not only math and science, but more importantly, God’s love. For that, and for the tuition assistance that has gifted it to us, we are grateful.”

“The tuition assistance fund has been a huge blessing to our family. Having multiple kids, the cost of private education can skyrocket quickly. Having this assistance really makes a Christ-centered education feasible for our family, and at St. Peter, they are not only getting probably the best education, but Jesus is everywhere in their lessons and throughout their day. This means the world to us knowing that our kids are growing to be ambassadors of our Savior to the world.”

“The gift of tuition assistance was one we will never forget. Navigating the waters of a career change can be daunting, and one that comes with unforeseen circumstances financially. Through the gift of this program, our family has been able to financially survive this change and continue the path forward instead of being behind. The generosity shown by the 922 community is second to none, it has truly become an extension of our family. From all of us, THANK YOU. We are forever grateful.”
